Tony teaches video chat lessons from his studio in Texas.
Tony has been playing guitar for over 35 years and has taught electric and acoustic guitar for over 15 years. He studied classical guitar and music theory at the University of Illinois Chicago. An experienced performer, he has played in many bands across genres. Currently Tony is lead guitarist for Animation – A Tribute to Rush, and performs frequently at local venues, including church services.
Tony specializes in teaching beginner and intermediate guitarists, with a focus on rock, pop, blues, alternative, and R&B. He believes in fostering a love for music through personalized lessons that keep students engaged and inspired. His aim is to help each student develop their unique style while mastering essential techniques, allowing them to quickly begin playing songs that resonate with their interests. Tony guides students to connect with their passion for music and to grow as musicians in an enjoyable, creative environment.
