Paul earned his BA in music theory and composition from the University of Minnesota. He has performed and recorded with the Tedeschi Trucks Band and other well-known musicians. Paul has also written and recorded songs with Mike Mattison, Amy Helm, and Kristina Train. Paul enjoys working with guitar students of all ages and levels and marvels at their curiosity and ability to absorb new information. Paul recognizes the need to keep up with new technology and popular music trends. However, he believes a grounding in classical technique and repertoire is essential. Paul focuses on each student's strengths, giving them the confidence to explore unfamiliar musical territory.
