What Nathan's students are saying
"My daughter loved taking violin lessons with Nathan. He was patient and made salient points when recommending things for her to practice between lessons. In addition, watching his live performance online gave my daughter an idea of what is possible. Nathan is a great instructor, and I would recommend him to anyone." ~ Julie W.
"Nathan is an extraordinary violin instructor. He has patiently taught my daughter how to read music and play the violin over Zoom. He has engendered in her a desire to continuously improve her skills while creating a safe space for her to make mistakes. His pedagogical skill as a music instructor is top-notch. She has looked forward to their weekly sessions for the last two years, and we are delighted that she is continuing her studies with him." ~ Brenda C.
"I have been taking violin lessons from Nathan for over a year. I always admired how beautiful the violin sounds, so at 51, I decided to begin learning how to play. Nathan is a patient teacher with a fun-loving personality. He is professional and easy to work with, and his love for music is contagious and inspiring. I recommend Nathan as a teacher to anyone interested in learning strings for themselves, no matter their age or skill level." ~ Kelly C.
"I am a 75-year-old senior living in a very musically active retirement community in Central Florida. I recently switched from violin to viola and wanted lessons to make me comfortable with the transition. Nathan helped with specific exercises and gave me tips on bowing that encouraged relaxation bow distribution. He is very knowledgeable, and I recommend his expertise to a musician of any age." ~ Mary W.
