What Meghan's students are saying

“Meghan has taught piano to my children for nine years. She has the patience and pedagogical skills to keep younger students engaged and motivated. She was as adept at keeping my 8-year-old beginner on-task as she is helping my 18-year-old prepare for college music auditions. Meghan is kind, dependable, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Meghan as a teacher for all levels and ages.” ~ Christine T.

“Meghan has been teaching my children piano for five years, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have her as an instructor. She is patient and kind, but still able to keep her students on task. She is consistent and reliable, as well. My son has a very eclectic music taste, and Meghan has gone above and beyond to find him songs that he is excited to learn. She has also taken the time to rearrange songs as needed. Meghan is an accomplished musician and composer, so she is able to offer guidance from the perspective of a successful practicing artist. Meghan is an outstanding person and teacher!” ~ Corie T.

“Taking jazz piano lessons under Meghan Swartz throughout my high school career skyrocketed my musical knowledge and piano abilities. Her lessons were always an extremely enjoyable and welcoming setting for musical exploration. Meghan’s harmonic and improvisational wisdom heavily shaped me into the piano player I am today, and taking lessons with her is a huge reason why I received a full-ride music scholarship at LSU. She is a mentor and the type of teacher who inspires you.” ~ Brie T.
