Kathleen is an experienced performer and a patient teacher of music theory, woodwinds, and piano. She earned her master of music degree from New York University and has been teaching for 10 years in New Jersey, both through her own studio and, in the last five years, through a music conservatory in Springfield NJ. She has helped students of all ages and learning styles to work toward their musical goals. Kathleen has a supportive and positive teaching style. She helps develop self esteem in her students, along with emphasizing music theory and technique. In addition, she believes it is important for students to learn pieces and genres that interest them. Kathleen teaches flute, saxophone, and piano.
