Emily teaches video chat lessons from her studio in Colorado.

Emily is a classically trained soprano who performs in opera but also enjoys musical theatre crossover work. She earned her master’s of music in vocal performance from Chicago’s DePaul University, studying opera and classical voice. In addition, Emily studied in the studio of Carrie St. Louis, known for her Broadway roles in Wicked and Dolly. Emily has performed both in operas and in musicals in regional theaters including The Dayton Opera, The Sacramento Theater Company, The Public Theater of San Antonio, Fort Collins Opera and LaComedia Dinner Theater.

In her twelve years of teaching voice to beginners through advanced students, Emily has specialized in musical theater, classical voice and audition prep. She tailors lessons to each student’s needs and passions. She crafts age-appropriate repertoire for students to succeed in lessons and auditions. In her studio, she cultivates an environment of exploration and helps her students develop confidence and freedom in singing.

Emily is a Certified Tunelark Voice Instructor.
