Diane teaches video chat lessons from her studio in Portland.

Diane is a solo artist, chamber music cellist and nurturing music educator who lives in Portland, Oregon. She tours around the U.S. as a featured member of the Portland Cello Project, and is often heard in solo and chamber music performances across the globe. She is on the faculty at Linfield University and is Program Coordinator for the Chamber Music Camp of Portland. Diane has taught at Yale University, Bard College, Oberlin Conservatory, and has given master classes in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, The Netherlands, Bosnia and Russia. She holds a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School and since 2019 has performed solo cello recitals in the U.S., Italy and “virtually” all over the world. Diane believes that each student is unique and she tries to meet all her students with curiosity and creativity.
